All STAR MICRONICS printers are covered by a twelve (12) month warranty including all parts and labour.

Please contact Star Micronics Service on 02 – 8788 – 1500 for a return authorisation and confirmation of warrranty, PRIOR to shipping any returns. Products shipped without RMA will not be accepted for servicing.
STAR MICRONICS or its agents will not be liable for cartage either to or from place of repair. Any goods delivered freight collect will not be accepted.
Proof of purchase in the form of a sales docket clearly stating model, serial number, date of purchase and the dealer from whom the printer was purchased must be supplied at the time of making a warranty claim.
Dealers acting as agents for customer must ascertain that the printer is at fault before returning the printer for repair. They must also provide the Service Department with proof of purchase. customer’s name and address, dealer’s name and address as well as a fault description or print samples showing the fault.
The twelve (12) month warranty does not cover printers that have been misused, altered or serviced by non-authorised persons. Plastic parts such as covers, printer guides or ribbons are not covered under warranty.
The period of warranty is for twelve (12) months and will begin when the customer is invoiced or thirty (30) days from date of Star Micronics invoice to the dealer, whichever occurs first.
EXTENDED THREE (3) YEAR WARRANTY
Extended warranty registration MUST be completed within the first 3 months of the standard 12 month warranty period to qualify for extension.
Encourage your customers to register their printer for our exclusive 3 year warranty (only available to the END USERS). This provides all the benefits of the 36/36 program at no cost to your client.
NOTE: THIS EXTENDABLE WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE TO STAR MOBILE PRINTERS, MPOP, OR KIOSK PRINTERS AND MECHANISMS.
